A question about Djlingo, or something in the app that does not work? Send an email to hello@easystreet.be.
Tell us your phone model, its iOS or Android version and which lesson you were in. That helps us reproduce the problem.
Getting Djlingo
Djlingo is available for iPhone on the App Store and for Android on Google Play. If you take part in a TestFlight test, you can also send feedback from the TestFlight app.
Module 1 and the full course
Module 1 is free. You do not need an account.
The full course is a one-time purchase, made through the App Store or Google Play. It is not a subscription: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. The app shows the price for your country before you confirm the purchase.
The full course opens Module 2, “Mixing in key”, and Module 3, “Pitch, tempo and key”. Modules 4 to 7 are marked “Coming soon”. They are included in the full course and open when they are released, at no extra cost. The full course is not shared through Apple’s Family Sharing.
Restoring a purchase
If you bought the full course and it is not open, for example after reinstalling the app or on a new phone:
- Make sure your phone is signed in to the App Store or Google Play with the same Apple Account or Google account you used to buy the full course. A purchase from the App Store does not open the full course on Android, and a purchase from Google Play does not open it on iPhone.
- In the app, go to Settings and tap “Restore purchases”. The same button is on the full course screen, which opens from “See the full course” on the course map.
- “Delete my data” does not remove your purchase. Restore it the same way.
- If the full course still does not open, email hello@easystreet.be with your phone model and the date of the purchase. Never send card details.
Payments and refunds
Apple or Google handles the payment, and we never see your card or bank details. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies. On iPhone, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, request it from your order history in Google Play. If Google Play’s refund window has passed, email us at hello@easystreet.be.
Progress and backup
Your progress is stored on your phone. If “Back up progress” is on in Settings, the app keeps an end-to-end encrypted backup, so your progress survives reinstalling the app or moving to a new phone. Backup is on by default.
- On iPhone, the key to the backup is kept in your iCloud Keychain. A new iPhone with the same iCloud Keychain can restore your progress.
- On Android, the key is kept by Google Play services on your phone. If the phone has a screen lock and Google backup is on, the key is also backed up to your Google account, end-to-end encrypted, so a new Android phone can restore your progress.
- We cannot read the backup, and we cannot recover it for you if you lose access to your iCloud Keychain or your Google backup.
Tap timing
Djlingo corrects your taps for the sound delay of the phone speaker, wired headphones or Bluetooth headphones. It uses the delay your phone reports, or a usual delay for that output when the phone does not report one. There is no timing check to do before you start.
To see the correction in use, go to Settings, then “Tap timing”. The live test plays a kick loop: tap along, and each tap shows on a bar from early to late after the correction.
If your taps still show as late although you tapped on the kick, run the timing check from the same screen. It measures the delay of the output that plays now. To go back to the automatic correction, tap “Use automatic”.
Deleting your data
- In the app, go to Settings, then “Delete my data”. This deletes from our server the backups this phone can open, switches backup off and resets the progress on this phone.
- If you use Djlingo on more than one iPhone with the same iCloud Keychain, or on Android phones restored from the same Google backup, do this on each of them, or the other phones upload the backup again.
- Djlingo has no accounts, so there is no account to delete.
- If you cannot use the app, email hello@easystreet.be and we will explain what we can delete for you. Backups are stored without your name or email address, so we cannot find yours from an email address alone.
